Octavia Banks aims to create unique garments for each owner to take care of and enjoy long past that season’s trends.
After finishing her fashion design degree during lockdown, designer Charlotte was stuck at home. After posting her final collection on her instagram, she received her first messages regarding custom marbled pieces. Her ‘made to order’ service quickly became popular amongst her followers, and one of a kind, hand-marbled pieces remain her most popular products.
Since then, Charlotte and her sister Elektra have opened a small studio in London where Charlotte continues to create and expand the Octavia Banks brand. Supported by an all female team, Octavia Banks is creating handmade and hand marbled clothes using sustainable fabrics with an emphasis on natural fibres and reducing waste.
With a focus on craftsmanship and unique designs, Octavia Banks hopes to promote people investing in their wardrobes and having an Octavia Banks piece be something customers continue to reach for in their closet.
